Photograph and Recipe Sharing Policy

Nothing would make me happier if you found something I’ve created worthy of sharing with your friends, family, and readers. Thank you so much for your interest. Please keep in mind that the content on Beer and Iron is copyrighted material. Here are a few policies that may help if you have any questions regarding the information on beerandiron.com.

Beer and Iron is a registered trademark of Sulae Arts LLC. All information, stories, recipes, photographs are protected under copyright.

Photograph Use

Using one of my photographs to promote my recipe or my blog in general: Most all images used on Beer and Iron were created by Kevin Walker and fall under the protection of copyright. They are the possession of Sulae Arts LLC. Some of the images were purchased by Sulae Arts LLC and are limited to be published on beerandiron.com only and fall under the copyright of their photographer and companies. Many of the images are available for sale as stock images that Sulae Arts LLC distributes photography though (send me an email and I’ll send you a link). You are welcome to share one photo as long as you prominently link back to the beerandiron.com’s original post. Please do not share more than one image from a post without my explicit permission (send me an email and we’ll have a conversation about it).

You may not republish any recipe itself. A photograph with a clear link back to the recipe is A-OK. Republishing even with a link back is not okay. Thank you for being cool with that and respecting all the work that went in to create this content! I’m kinda honored that you like it so much you’d want to share it, but please follow this policy.

Using one of my photographs to promote something else: You must request permission beforehand. Many of the images on Beer and Iron are available as stock images that Sulae Arts LLC distributes photography though (send me an email and I’ll send you a link). I do not allow my photos to be used as clip art/stock images unless you and I have negotiated compensation and licensing agreement.

RECIPE USE

You may not republish my recipe(s). You are truly sending the love! But, I just can not permit other websites or publications to publish my recipes even if the re-publishing links back to beerandiron.com. beerandiron.com will remain the exclusive source for these recipes just like the information and copyright material on your publication remains the exclusive source of the information you create and publish. Again, these recipes are copyrighted material and may not be published elsewhere.

Please don’t use the comments sections as a promotional platform. We love y’all already.

Affiliate Discretion

Occasionally, Sulae Arts LLC and beerandiron.com will link to products and services. Those links may be affiliate links. If you click on any of those affiliate links and make a purchase within a certain time frame, your ol’ buddy Sulae will earn a small commission. The commission is paid by the retailers, at no cost to you. But, that commission helps make this website possible. It’s a win-win. You get awesome information; I have a revenue to fund these websites and the company gets their ad out.

Truth be known, I really don’t like visiting websites with lots of ads posted all over the place. Sometimes I can’t tell what I am reading, “Is this part of the author’s post or is it part of the advertising?” There will be limited advertising on this website. Most of the “advertising” will be in affiliate links that will take you AWAY from beerandiron.com to another website like Amazon or other source.
